Yes, but I'd also take into account child support for the sixteen years he didn't pay it.
You won't get very far with that. If you wanted child support you should have pursued it at the time. Unless there was an agreement between you that he would not pay child support and in return you would keep the house.
You may well be able to argue that you should get some credit for the payment of the mortgage (although bear in mind that he might counter-claim that he should get 'occupation rent' for the fact that you were occupying 'his half' of the house)All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0 -
