wallpapering landing question

Hi allI live in a housing association flat which I rent unfurnished. Although the HA paid some money towards decorating costs, this was only £100 for an entire one bedroom flat! This is obviously to cover basics but i am trying to make it homely without spending a fortune considering that I will move on and leave it all behind in a few years' time perhaps. I can wallpaper and do basic DIY myself apart from the landing; it is an upstairs maisonette with a 20ft drop alongside the stairs so I think I will have to get professional decorators in to paper this; I don't really want to use paint as it will look so bare. Any idea what I should expect to pay? I have the wallpaper, just need someone to hang it. It looks like a tricky job and stands out quite a bit so it needs to be done well. I bought a ladder but to be honest don't like the idea at all; it is very precarious and I think a professional would be far safer! Thanks for any advice.
