Paid for parking, got a ticket, appeal rejected, what next?

Back in March I got a parking ticket from UK Parking Ltd for not displaying a valid ticket. I had in fact paid for ticket and had it displayed. I read this forum and waited for a letter through the post. I appealed using the template, did not identify the driver and enclosed a photo copy of the ticket I paid for (I still have the original and the notice they stuck on my windscreen). No shock that my appeal was rejected and I've now had a letter from PCN Parking Solutions. I looked at the pictures on the UK Parking website and there is my car but the ticket I bought cannot be seen but it was there. I don't think the pictures were taken in the two minutes or so that it would have taken for me to get the ticket from the machine.
What do I do next? Do I appeal to the IAS which seems like a waste of time according to some posts here. Or do I just sit and wait? As I say I have the ticket I bought, it has the times it covers in it and notice was issued between these times.

the problem here is that you have no proof of rebuttal , no pictures showing that the ticket WAS displayed , no pictures taken at the time to rebut their alleged rule breaking
with the lack of evidence to support your defence , an appeal to the IAS is likely to fail
you will have better options in persuading a judge that a ticket was bought and paid for , that you can swear on oath that it was displayed , that the PPC suffered no loss , etc etc
its your choice , but to win at the IAS you need proof0 -
Should I not appeal to IAS then and wait until I receive court papers?0

that is YOUR decision to make
we just help out with facts and advice
we dont tell people what to do , as an adult you should use the information and decide on what action to take , even if that action is IGNORE anything except court papers0 -
I appreciate that and I'm not 5. Perhaps I should have asked what is the suggested or best coarse of action based on previous experiences of others or other cases similar to the situation I have.0

your situation is not relevant
the NEWBIES sticky thread gives the best advice on the internet for england and wales , free of charge , it is based on the experiences of others and feedback etc , plus the "best guess scenario" , especially given that parking prankster has blogged about what a kangaroo court system the barista working for the IAS seems to produce
please read it0 -

Exactly, a properly 'appeal' is a defence in small claims. You do not get a fair change at IAS, we've seen it time and again and losses make people feel they must pay, when they don't.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks Coupon-mad. If I receive court papers I'll fight it. I have the ticket I bought as evidence and I'll read up on what I need to do. I still can't understand how they took pictures without the ticket in them but I suppose its for the court to decide.0
