Stuck With A Foreign USD Cheque After Co-op Bank Change

Co-operative bank sent out a letter on April 21 to ay they will no longer accept US dollar cheques from May 5.
Previously I'd just deposited these into my current account and there was an 8gbp charge.
But shortly after the letter arrived I had a cheque for 127usd also come.
Now I am stuck with it and as I don't have any other bank accounts I have no idea what to do.
Co-operative could have given a longer notice period surely to consider any foreign cheques people were receiving, as foreign mail can take a week or two to arrive.
Does anybody know how I can cash this cheque?
Thanks

Open a second account with a bank that will accept them.
Might be worth investigating banks that offer USD accounts if this is a regular occurrence.0 -
