Virgin Media New Customer Deals

Hi, i currently have a virgin media bundle which includes Unlimited phone, XL TV (everything apart from premium channels) + 100MB BB which contract ran out yesterday, i pay £85 pm, which i feel is alot for what im getting considering friends get better deals for cheaper. I only use the TV for sports really and i rang them up earlier saying my contract was up is there any way to + skysports for around the same price. They said it would be £112 with it. I looked on their website and saw a new customer deal for £85 which includes everything (skysports + Cinema in HD) aswell as 200mb broadband however they said they cant switch it over to that deal. I was wondering if there was any other way to get a new customer deal whilst being an existing customer. It's a pity they value new customers rather than people who have been with them for 15 years:D.. Thanks

Wait twelve months and you are a new customer .
Or give 30 days notice and see what they offer and be prepared to move .

But those are the ones who keep paying high prices instead of negotiating a new contract .

look at your other options on https://www.uswitch.com
    and note the price.

Provide your 30 days notice (if you are out of contract on ALL services)

    Wait and see what happens.
If nothing happens either move supplier or uncancel the cancellation on day ~26

The reason they won't discount you more is precisely because you have shown no inclination to leave in 15 years. Forget loyalty, it does not exist. Price up the same deal on Sky and ring them up giving that as a target, saying that otherwise you are giving your notice. Once you get through to retentions, the decent deals should come.
