Premier Parking Notice

Hi
I have received a Parking Charge Notice from Premier Parking. I'm not sure how confident I can be with ignoring it. I did the initial appeal which failed.
I was parked at Branscombe Beach car park and contest the fine as I paid to be there for the 'day'. There was a man who seemed official in some way helping the public with the complicated pay machine who offered reassurance stating that we don't need to rush back to our cars as it is possible to 'top up' at the machine on return to the car.
So, basically I paid for the day (with the help of the man entering the details into the machine) but needed to 'top up' by 2 hours which I (thought) I'd done. Interestingly, neither of the payments appear on my bank statement yet it is only the 'top up' they are contesting. All very confusing really.
The point is, I am an honest person. I fear this company is not. If my payment was incorrect in anyway, it was down to human error and not dishonesty.
Do I just pay or what??

Premier Parking Solutions? If so this lot are IPC members so you should look at IPC guidance when reading the Newbies thread and then come back with any questions.

I also noticed this on their website:

"Please note we will defend ourselves vigourously and consider recoverying costs against any County Court action that may be issued against us, refer to the news section on the right of this page for latest court reports."

Great spelling chaps and great understanding of the SCC ... like the poor people PPS take to the SCC, you can't recover much of your costs I am afraid ... are they perhaps expecting a load of MCOLs against them in the near future?!? DPA breaches ...

Did you have any luck? Looking at Trip Advisor for Branscombe there have been many similar complaints and I think they should be reported to Trading Standards. I have a PCN from Branscombe as well. They are Premier Park BPA according to my letter.

Go ahead yourself and complain to Trading Standards
