Sources for Square Ceramic Tiles

Can anyone recommend a source for square ceramic tiles suitable for a kitchen - bit like this. I'm not sure on the size but I think it's 15x15 cm?

We're redoing ours and I wanted to put in mixed square tiles in blues and greens, but everywhere seems to have stopped selling them in favour of the metro tiles. Which are very nice, but I think they could look quite dated in a few years, and I really don't want to have to redo them.

I know you're worried about things dating but a 6 inch square tile is really dated. It's a 'contract' tile.

If you love them, go for it, but if you are trying to be a bit style aware and futureproofing by avoiding metro tiles, I think think you've missed the mark.

Dated that's for sure I sold them on a daily basis back in the 1950's:)

Ah, 6x6, that's it, thank you. I do like them, and I always thought they were fairly timeless. Not sure I could ever be described as style aware, but I figure if something is already out of fashion it can't get any more out of fashion.

London50 - you sound like the person to speak to if I want a lovely avocado bathroom suite to match my new tiles :)

PasturesNew - Metro tiles do remind me of public loos - I like them in my bathroom but not sure I want confused houseguests trying to widdle on my workingtops.

So true, you would not believe how many of those I sold during the 1960/early 70's:rotfl:
