PCN issued 30 days after incident VCS

VCS have issued a PCN 30 days after the alleged incident of stopping on a red line on an airport approach road. They are claiming under contract law and not relying upon Freedom of Information 2012.
I have not identified the driver with my first appeal, it has now gone to appeal.
Also if they are claiming under contract law and acceptance is by entering the approach road yet there is no alternative, is this not a contract forced upon a party and therefore not fair ?
Thanks
Andrew

Which airport?
Have you read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky? Have you undertaken a forum search on 'VCS airport', which will not only reveal to you the entirely shaky enforcement operation undertaken by them at airports, but also why this is unlikely to go any further than irritating, powerless debt collector letters. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

bylaws apply at airports, so unless the ARPORT has issued a notice to go to magistrates court within 6 months , relax, and read up on airport sc@ms0

It was LJLA - I did read the newbies - Umkomaas search proposal was really useful
thank you Both0 -
I was issued with a similar notice from these people at the same airport and as the good people on here will tell you BW legal will send you letters (I have got 3 so far).
Reply to them all is the answer I was given but they will only reply with the same standard letters. Hopefully they will go away.0 -

PePiPoo poster 'hexaflexagon' has really been taking up the cudgels against VCS and LJLA and is quite a legend (and a thorn in the flesh for those two and Liverpool Council). Here is his mega thread to read which will help you get your head around what has been, and is going on in the fight against this daylight robbery.

Despite many hundreds of people with airport cases hanging over them now ignoring VCS (but with robust retorts to BW Legal letters), not one single person has been sued through the small claims court. Yet VCS has become quite litigious in regard to other car parks they meddle in, but never an airport. Now that must raise questions as to why not!
On PePiPoo there is a pledged fighting fund to provide expert legal help to the first VCS LJLA court case that comes up. Another reason I suspect for VCS' shyness in putting an airport case in front of a judge. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
