Transfer of property after separation

My friend bought a house with her husband.
They bought it without a mortgage based on her funds
They have now separated.
He is more than willing to transfer the property directly to her
Is it any more complicate than completing the transfer document?
She has been to see a solicitor and they are saying they will deal with it for her however he needs to appoint a solicitor they can communicate with. He is not willing to spend money on solicitors
Any help mch appreciated

It depends on length of marriage if he would otherwise be entitled to anything.0 -
Her solicitor is saying that he has to have one who they can communicate with
Ccan she do it by herself and complete the forms herself ?0 -

Her solicitor is either an idiot or simply trying to get his mate some work.0 -
Obviously we cannot commet on whether either or both of you need divorce advice or help with the financial arrangement, but if it is simply the process of changing the name on the Title of the property, then it's straightforward.
Also assuming there is nomortgage, and no other Charge or Restricion registered on the property.
No solicitors required.
Complete/submit
* TR1
* ID1
* AP1
For ID1 you'll need to verify ID, either free at a Land Registry office at the same time as submission, or by paying a solicitor just to verify ID.

Presumably she will be divorcing and it would probably be better to deal with the house as part of that so all of the legal and financial ties are settled in one go.0
