Old joint Mortgage with Bradford & Bingley

From 1988 until sometime in the 90s, I and my ex-wfe held a joint mortgage with Bradford and Bingley. Overlooking for the moment that B&B don't exist any more, where do I stand in making a PPI reclaim? I have no idea if my ex-wife is even alive, let alone where she might live. Can I make a claim solely in my name?

Did you have MPPI?
Was it sold by B&B? (many of their mortgages were broker arranged)
Was it missold?

You can make a complaint but some firms will not accept a complaint without both parties signing the forms. Some will. If the complaint is successful then you only get your share of the redress. Some lenders will only release funds when both have signed to agree the split.

Yes it was sold directly by B&B. I even remember the interview, and they practically insisted I have the PPI. In fact, it was the same with HSBC who I transferred the mortgage to several years later.
