Is anyone else with Domain Express?

I've got a website domain registered through Domain Express (a sister company of Freezone).

They are having some migration work done today (although they never warned me) and my website's been unavailable all weekend. I managed to get hold of online tech support earlier on today and they told me everything would be up and running and back online in a couple of hours (that was at 10.30 am), which it wasn't but I was genuinely okay with that as I realise that migrations don't always work to planned schedules etc.

But I'm getting a little worried now as Freezone's site is now working fine and so is Domain Expresses (although it's slow) and mine is just nowhere to be seen.

Does anyone else have a site with these people, and if so........are you back online yet?

Their tech support is unavailable now until at least tomorrow.

    I see this is an old thread, but hope that my comment will prod it into life again and prevent others from trying Domain Express.

    First - pretty hidden costs. Customer goes from screen to screen with little transparency of the whole process … and cost

    Second - No contact information at all on site - yes, a live chat 'support' but that is not really contact. Pre-written responses delivered by gatekeepers with little real impact on the business

    Third - staff contact unhelpful - shady, uninvolved, and not at all professional. Having taken my money Domain Express sent many emails to verify that my domain had been registered, and services set up. !!!!!!! Money gone ... the next day I have a call to my mobile from an operative who cannot be bothered to properly pronounce where he is from, and then proceeds to ask if I was **** ***** (name).

    This did not make me feel secure - but apparently the call was for my security, and not for upselling ....

    No explanation on the site that a call is necessary to verify identity (not that it does). They could take Paypal or Google's lead on engaging with their customers.

    Fourth - Live Chat 'support' almost immediately tried to upsell to me, and made little - actually no - effort to answer the question I asked. Which was 'what is your after-sales process'. Seemed rather pleased with himself, rather insincere and not helpful. Subsequent emails from different operatives have been ....

    'Thank you for contacting Domain Express.

    I am sorry to hear that you wish to cancel your account with us.

    Unfortunately we cannot refund for the services as we have already paid for the services to the third party.

    If you have any further queries please do not hesitate in contacting us.'

    ....not good service.

    So, from my experience I will never knowingly do business with them again (and I will do my homework).

    So very tired of crappy 'service'!!

    Oh, I was told that their marketing manager was called 'Darren' but probably isn't.
