My existing island hood (90cm) stopped working.
I searched Amazon and found 3 hoods with cost around £200
Cookology ILD900GL Island Chimney Cooker Hood 90cm
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01HQ5FX26/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A1WVQBL88Y6QXD&psc=1
electriQ 90cm Curved Glass Island Cooker Hood
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0100NMQWG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A1CAORI1L0FBRC&psc=1
MILLAR KH900V-WG 90cm. Not sure whether this is an island hood or a chimney hood.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01N48SPJJ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=AIW1S0BAQXVKS&psc=1
How do I compare which is the best buy? and is the Millar KH900V-WG an Island hood?
Thanks.

The first one extracts the most air but is very noisy. The others extract a bit less but don't tell you how noisy they are!
Having said that I just had a quick look on AO & you seem to have to spend about £1000 to get one that is reasonably quiet.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -
Why replace the complete hood? It will surely only be the fan that has failed.0
