Egg Loans - ur experiences!

I had a couple of loans and a credit card with Egg.
I made no contact with anyone, but was written to by Canada Square, asking me to fill in a form, to assess whether I could claim the PPI back on the above. I was written to not once, but individually for each loan/card.
This could mean that you didn't have it, as this was many years ago and Egg have been sold to Barclaycard several years ago as well.
My claim basis was I shouldn't have been sold it, due to me being covered very comprehensively by my work for sick pay/redundancy etc...so I couldn't have made a claim on it. Therefore I didn't need it and it shouldn't have been sold to me, when I explained that to them during the application or that it wasn't made clear, that it wasn't suitable for me, due to my work circumstances.
I was paid out on each occasion.0
