Cost to replace lawn?
Any idea of the cost to get someone to remove an old lawn and replace it with new - it's a front garden, 20 feet by 10 feet rectangle, won't be played on so doesn't need to be tough. Current lawn is full of weeds and apparently very low quality meadow/thick grass.

i turfed my lawn last year, by hand, 36sqft of turf was about £100 from a local place. Add half a day labour if you get someone to do it0

Don't forget to factor in the cost of a skip for disposing of the old turf.0

Could you consider renovating the existing lawn? With selective weed killer, water, seed and a good lawn fertiliser you could have a great lawn in no time and a quarter of the cost of a new lawn. and not really any hard work. New lawn that size approx £4000

6*3m is 18m2. Turf cost £2/m2, 40 tot. Some extra topsoil £25. Time if not DIY - 1 day at 200. Mini skip 100. So 400 I agree if not DIY.0
