Viable trust alternative to Petplan

Hi
I have have Petplan Covered 4 Life Classic for my 2 Jack Russell terriers. I have made two claims for the same dog in the last 2 years for non cancerous lumps. I asked Petplan and they have said these would be classed as a pre existing condition if I were to switch insurer. If I could move I would want another "lifetime" policy were the pot of money is renewed yearly on renewal of the policy and you can claim repeatedly for the same condition/conditions.
Does anyone know of a decent alternative to Petplans covered for life policies were I have a dog with claims made as explained above? I would personally say my options are extremely limited. Many thanks for any help or guidance provided.

It's easier to suggest who to avoid (AF) as most insurers offer lifetime renewing benefit policies. Their websites can make it easy to confuse this with maximum benefit policies, so watch out for that. Premiums, excesses and co-insurance payments vary from company to company. Some insurers (AF, E&L, PP) are v good at slapping exclusions on your pet's cover, others just exclude pre-existing conditions. With the companies I assess for, your dog's benign lumps would be classed as pre-existing if the same type of lump re-occurred, so that depends if a diagnostic sample was taken, or if the vet describes it as e.g. likely lipoma. But there are often things recorded in a pet's clinical history that owners don't realise would make a condition pre-existing, so maybe get your vet to review your pet's history to see if there's anything that might be an issue if you change companies.0
