Hey all..

We've just replaced our gravity fed system with an unvented system and the pressure is finally excellent at home !

Now, we have an electric shower in the downstairs bathroom , which I want to replace with a thermostatic shower ( these look better !!).

(I am getting a builder to start work next week), However I would like to know how hard is this work ? Electric showers have only cold water as input, right ? If i want to put in a concealed Thermostatic shower hea, will the plumbing work of running a hot water pipe be easy ? ( or possible)

How long is a piece of string?

All depends on your house, where the hot water supply will be taken from, where the shower is located and what the route is like in between. At best, it could be straight down through the floor or a wall, at worst - lifting floors throughout the house to run new pipework.

If you've already got hot water in your downstairs bathroom, supplying a bath for example, then that should make it reasonable straightforward.
