Choosing an energy supplier when your not switching (new build)

Hi
We are due to complete on a new build next week and am just trying to sort out all our utilities.
I am struggling who to choose which energy supplier to go with. We are not switching and have been living with my parents for over a year so have not been responsibilities for the bills here. In previously rented properties I used comparison sites to switch energy suppliers but with starting from scratch we don't know who to set it up with.

If it makes any difference its a 3 bed end mews house with solar panels and gas.

When you move in you will be on a deemed contract with the existing suppliers used by the developer. Take meter reads on entry. You must register for an account with them, after that you are free to switch away if you wish to.
You can still use any comp site, just enter any supplier you like as the current one, using average kWh figures.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Speak to the sales agent - it's what they are there for :)

This is something they really should have already spoken to you about by now (e.g. if you want a telephone line for when you move in, you need to have already arranged this) and certainly something they should speak to you about again on completion day in regards to water, energy, etc.

Hopefully it has already been confirmed the arrangement for the solar panels, and that your solicitor has looked into it and confirmed with you likewise.
