Egg Standard Rate Increase

Just noticed advert in paper (Daily Express) that the Egg card standard rate will increase to 14.9% from today (1st October 2004).
Not sure if this has been mentioned before.

Hi there,
I saw this too. AND it's not the only card that's gone up recently - a couple of my cards have increased their standard rate - my Co-Op card for instance has jumped to 15.9% !!!
I'm gonna keep my Egg Card though cos they give you 0% BT for 5 months every year (on your anniversary, I think)
