Lloyds Bank loan

I recently filled out the online enquiry form on the Lloyds bank site even though I wasn't sure if I'd ever had PPI, but I still bank with them so thought it was worth checking. I received a letter yesterday and it turns out I did have PPI on a loan from 1997, and have received a refund of £1600 :j
However, there was also one loan account where they have rejected my complaint due to lack of information. I phoned them today as I have no details about the loan so wanted to check when I took it out to see if I could provide more information. They told me that it was taken out in 1991. I would have been 14! How is that even possible? It looks like there's a mistake with the dates but unsure where it goes from here. They've said they'll look into it. The weird thing is they didn't even appear to be concerned that I would have been 14. They just asked me for my circumstances at the time!!

I wouldn't push it if I were you. If the loan in question is not yours then it is quite possible that the loan for which you have ben repaid £1600 was not yours either and they have linked you to another persons account. If that were to be the case they would be entitled to demand a refund.0

I know that the other loan is mine, I think they've made an error in the date of the 1991 loan, so I'm not too concerned. I'm intrigued to see how they investigate.:AThanks to all those who post comps:A0
