POPLA Appeal Time Scale

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have appealed against a PCN via POPLA for my elderly mother and was wondering if there are any set time scales in which the Parking Operator has to reply to the original appeal or if it is indefinite. I sent in the original appeal on 20th April and ever since when I track it, it just says Operator Information and Evidence as In Progress. Is there a time limit on when they should reply by? If so what happens to the appeal if they don't reply in that time.
As you can imagine as a lady of 74 my mum is very worried about them adding further charges should the appeal be denied(which it shouldn't).

you are best to assume it takes 4 to 8 weeks , although I dont think they give an actual timescale0
