Start by joining your local Freecycle groups, and see if there is a mums f-book group in your local area. The best reasonably priced items are the ones given away for free. :)

If you can knock some of the more expensive items off your list, budgeting for the rest will be easier.

Also look out for car boot sales.
Where I live there are usuually stalls and stalls full of baby things especially small sized clothing some of which has clearly never been worn or just worn once. Of course some people say that they couldn't possibly let their baby wear second hand clothes- well- they obviously don't have a tight budget.

For baby consumables also look at Aldi & Lidl. They often have baby events, I think Aldi has had one recently, yes, saw someone buying a baby gate today.Their disposable nappies have the Good Housekeeping logo. Wonder if you have a 'real' nappy service in your area- might work out cheaper to use them.

Might also be worth posting on the Money Saving Mums board- bet there will be lots of suggestions there. I especially see there is a What is the cost of a new baby? thread
