Advice for court SIP PCN

Hi all
Some advice needed as I am attending court on 15th may to appeal against a CCJ. I'm not sure what I'm required to do in court or what will be asked.
Background- I got a PCN from SIP in a car park on Winslow road in Manchester. This was privote land and was a manned car park. So I paid to get into the car park and displayed my ticket. I received a ticket saying I failed to display this. I followed the appeal proccess on the ticket by writing to them with my rationale but failed to get a response.
I then ignored any further letters from the company and then also Gladstone solicitors. I then received a letter from Gladstone informing me that a CCJ had been obtained against my mum the registered owner of the vehicle. My concern is that we never recevied any letters from the court stating the ccj was to be applied and nor did we get the chance to defend ourselves.
My argument-
• CCJ was applied to registered keeper but they were not the driver of the vehicle
• a ticket was displayed and the appeals proccess was followed but no correspondence was received
• a CCJ was incorrectly applied as no court documents were sent and there was no chance for defence
