Parking Eye Fine from March!!

Hi all,

I need some help please.

This morning I received a parking fine from Parking Eye stating I'd been caught in our hospital on 22nd March without paying the fee (36 minutes). Not only do they have my name wrong on the form (an additional 'N' - I was away with work at the time, but I know who was driving!
However, after asking the driver what happened he's stated the meters were broken on the day and he has proof (photos) of them not working.

Can I ask for advice on what to do please?should I state I was away and show my hotel bill to prove this? Shall I include photos of the meter not working? Can they send it through considering this was back in March and it's now May? I thought they had 14 days to prosecute?

Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated! Thank you so much in advance.

There's a sticky thread which tells you what you need to do in order to challenge this. It's the "Newbies Read This First" thread at the top of the parking board.

you Must complain to the hospital, which hospital was this?
post hike complaint up here so it can be checked. You need to say the right things to get it cancelled.

and one last thing, it's not a fine.
