HELP!!! MCOL Disaster

Somebody please help me out of this hole. Im at the end of my tether with this blummin' thing.
Got my defence ready, has to be submitted tomorrow. Went to MCOL, password wouldnt work. Clicked request new password - with no warning or change-of-mind screen, they're sending it BY POST! 5 days! Emailed the helpline to request an email password reset, they say they could take 10 days to respond.
So now I cant get into MCOL but *have* to get defence in tomorrow. Can I email it anywhere? Is that allowed? Can I take it to the Court? That would mean missing a hospital appointment but Im about out of options.
Any advice/ideas much appreciated. *shuffles off to bang head against wall*

Call MCOL, quote your case number and ask if you can do it by email (you can). They will give you the correct email address (it changes)

What is the issue date on the court papers? Provided you completed the AoS on time you have 33 days from the 'issue date' to submit your defence. You may have more time than you think.ask if you can do it by email (you can).
Don't forget to put your claim no. in the subject line0 -
Hi Lamilad
Is that so? Because I cant get into MCOL I cant check the dates. The claim was dated 7 April so this is Day 28. If I can have 33 days I might chuck it in the post today too, to be sure.
Email: Yes, Claim Number and the text "Claim Response" is the guidance I had this morning. Also, responses sent by post to have claim number put on envelope.
Many thanks for your time. You need nerves of steel for this pallava!0 -
Why waste money on a stamp, envelope, printing costs and trip to the PO (can't be a postbox as you'd need a free receipt of posting)
I would still email it. You can copy yourself in to prove it's sent ok and ring the court to confirm they've received it.
As you've got another 5 days why don't you post your defence on here to see if we can add anything to it or remove anything that shouldn't be in there.0 -
in case anyone finds this thread like I did, looking for the right email address to send the response in to.
I found the email listed for Nottingham County Court Business centre. (CCBC@justice.gov.uk) I sent the email and I got the following automated reply
You will need to send any ‘claim response’ which includes the acknowledgment of service, part admission or defence/counterclaim forms as well as directions questionnaires (DQs) directly to ccbcaq@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk to ensure that they are filed correctly. Your email has not been forwarded.
N244 and N245 applications should be sent to ccbcfees@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk0 -
except its in Northampton , not Nottingham0

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Interesting to see that two things have changed recently re: email addresses on CCBC's contact us webpage.
1) It has at last been changed to use @justice.gov.uk email addresses. This we knew about several weeks ago.
2) The CCBCAQ email address has vanished!
There used to be a line:Claim responses & directions: ccbcaq@hmcts.gsi.gov.ukwhich is no longer there.
I have sent feedback as this must be a mistake given the response quoted in post #7.0 -
The CCBCAQ email address has vanished!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
