Hi, im currently goingthrough the process of buying my first home it has taken a little longer than expected about 12 weeks in now, we signed the mortgage deed yesterday and are expecting to sign contracts next week and hopefully complete within the next 2 weeks.
My issue is that i was offered a new job just before i started the whole process i told them i wouldnt be able to start until mid may but as the house has taken longer that expected it doesnt look like we will have completed by the time i quit my current job and start the new one i am worried the mortgage lender will find this out and retract the mortgage offer they have already done the employment checks and references weeks ago do you think they will do more checks before they release the money or should i be ok to start the new job.
Thanks in advance for any help
