Nationwide (Flex plus) travel insurance but no certificate

We have travel insurance via Nationwide Flexplus (£10 per month) and are due to go to the U.S. in August.
Our travel agent has requested a copy of the certificate of insurance to be held on file. However, Nationwide state that they no longer provide certificates and simply point us to the policy document and our account number for details of how to claim. So we have nothing with our names on which proves that we are covered. In effect, we are paying for a policy that we can't use.
Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution?

You can use it because you have policy number. The policy booklet provides the information on claiming should you need do.0

I have insurance with a Nationwide Flexaccount. I mislaid my certificate earlier this year and they provided a replacement certificate (which covers the UK) The policy number is different to the account.
Flexplus arrangements may be different.
I paid an additional £40 to Nationwide for travel to US and have certificate from UK InsuranceNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
Just tell your agent what nationwide have told you.
(Travel agents have no rights to keep your insurance docs on file anyway!)0
