Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with House Simple?
I listed my property with them last October. I have now withdrawn from sale with them due to poor service and sold the property within 24hours with a new agent.
Some problems I have encountered are:
Advertised the wrong town,
Listed property a week before instructed,
Informed two viewers the property had been sold,
Ignored requests to chase for feedback on 2 viewings,
On complaint offered a good will offer that was then made a default free option a week later,
No response to calls,
7 weeks to respond to a complaint letter,
Has anyone encountered any problems with this company? If so has there been anything sorted?

Did you pay a fee up-front?
It's over 6 months since October, so why did you stick with them so long? Did you sign up with them for a long time? Eight weeks would be more than enough with a conventional agent.
Anyway, the house is sold, so what are you looking for here: sympathy? revenge? compo?
Selling a house is far from simple, but maybe if you think it is and do little research, it becomes more complex than it needs to be.
I'd take whatever lessons there are to be learned from this and move on.0
