3 weeks ago I used TPS on my mobile as plan to use it more as got a contract for it, I can go days or more with zero calls then 5-10 a day for things like utility compamies. PPI, life insurance, and "accident" ones.
They all started 4 years ago when I signed up for a freebie recommended by a trusty website and of course it never arrived but started being spammed with calls so stopped using the mobile.
The calls always ask for me by name, so I assume they got my number from that freebie years ago, but the calls since signing up to TPS never end. its from UK numbers and mostly UK people so its not foreign people.
Can these be blocked?

Does not help with companies that are not signed up to the code .
Easy enough to spoof a foreign number as a UK one .
Block with a BT 8500 or 8600 phone .
BT customer sign up to the new service that blocks common spammers .0 -
As your using a mobile you would need a smart phone with blocking facilities to block them.
3 weeks is not long enough for TPS to work anyway you need to give it 28 days at least.0 -
As well as BT Plusnet are now offering a free call blocking service.
