Hi all,
After success with fighting my previous parking ticket, my friend has one which she asked me to help with if anyone could advise me.
Please see attached parking ticket (1 & 3 - front and back), 2 is of her receipt that she paid.
My friend parked at Bedford Train Station Car Park yesterday, there were no official lined spaces left so parked safely in a place where it did not breach any entrances, exits or any other cars, or indeed did not block any routes for cars or emergency vehicles etc. (maybe a bit silly but my friend did not take a picture of where she parked)! She did still buy the appropriate parking ticket to park in the car park of which we attached a photo of the receipt.
Do you think she can appeal and be successful? She told me that there wasn't any signs saying not to park there or advising that need to park in allocated bays etc.
Happy to proceed and appeal based on the sticky's and other threads but because this is slightly different i.e. not parking in an allocated space, i didn't know whether we can appeal or not?
Thanks
Regards,
Barbie

train stations are subject to bylaws, so for a start get to know the topic by putting INDIGO RAILWAY into the forum search box and reading the advice given to dozens of other members here (the advice never changes)
I will start you off with this one
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5635338
then read and follow the advice in post #1 of the NEWBIES sticky thread
and DO NOT REVEAL WHO WAS DRIVING , nor who the ACTUAL OWNER is either
the only terms allowed are THE DRIVER and THE KEEPER, nothing else, especially not the single letter I (as in "ME , MYSELF or I")
for the time being , none of the story is relevant , because any appeal is not based on "what happened"0 -
Thank you, will go through all of this later0
