bank of scotland interest

Bank of Scotland current account: My interest hasn't gone in this month, though halifax £3 bonus has. Has anyone got their interest on their Bank of Scotland account/s paid in this month?

    All 6 of ours paid today. Have you maybe failed to meet one of the requirements ?

    All our 6 accounts paid interest as usual, but there was a strange message when I logged in - suggesting that I was just missing out on the interest and reminding me of the need for two different DDs and £1000 to be paid in each month.

    I've been paid interest for April and I see no reason why this might change in May?
  • just checked, and mistakenly deposited only £800 instead of £1000 last month. Damn! :(

    Don't worry, you're not alone. I was on the phone to them this afternoon for a similar reason, moment of panic thinking the Tesco scheme is no longer working. However in my case I'd sent 2x £1000 to the same account rather than £1000 to each account.

    Will remember this month to do the transfers earlier in the day when not so tired :)

    1->2->3->1 internal £1K SOs going forward?

    Nearly slipped up myself this month. Had run Club Lloyds right down to a quid or so and forgot I still had a couple of DDs totalling £8 which left today. Cue rush to transfer a tenner in quick sticks!

    I thought they had to be external ones... will go and check the T&C's again.

    My original account is paired with an external account requiring a £1k pay-in. When I opened the second two I discovered a manual transfer to and from the Halifax account counts (comes up in BoS online banking session, assume that's normal). So I normally go:
    2->Hfax
    3->Hfax
    Hfax->2
    Hfax->3

    Takes under a minute to do them manually and only one online banking login required, which is also when I take out the interest, so never bothered setting up external SO's.

    Will be reviewing that now :(

    :(

    I certainly have 1 > 2 being funded internally- the others jump around as I opened the 3 a/cs over a couple of months. Mine all work with SOs... that way no dependency on my memory!

    The bank holiday messed up my interest rate for one of my acc. Usually 1k going into acc at end of the month and that was a sunday so it ended up being may. All changed now.

    That message has been popping up for a few weeks now despite our accounts all complying with the t&c and paying interest each month. Seems to be just a general reminder to Vantage account holders.
