Hello all
First off, apologies if this is in the wrong forum...
Ive a question on credit/debit card pre authorisation. If you place an online order on 31 march and a pre auth is taken and the card expires on that date....what happens when the goods are dispatch on the next day and the company attempts to take full payment? So pre auth was given before card expiry but payment attempted after card has expired? Is the pre auth honoured?

The card is still charged as it was valid on the pre auth date.0
