Samsung GT-P7300 help.

I have just bought a 2nd hand Samsung tablet model number GT-P7300 and on setting it up it has Android 3.2 on it.

Had a look on the web and see that version of android is about 6 years old and i have tried to see if there is a software update which the tab tells me that there is not.

i am a bit surprised that it does not have a newer version on it so is there anyway to get a newer version downloaded on to it?

half of the Apps that i have on google play store wont work on it so cant download them.

The Play store version is 4.8.20(build number)

Last official update was 4.04 see sammobile.com for downloads .

Custom 4.04 and 4.4 + 5.0 + 5.1 even a 7.01 posted in the XDA forum .

I have the Lenovo and am well pleased with it. It is a bit slow to boot up, but works well. I have several e-book readers on it, including Kindle. I also bought one from my granddaughter, who had a Dragontouch 10" that one of her friends destroyed in an accident. Gdaughter prefers the 8" Lenovo now. It has almost the same spec as the 10", but the smaller screen has same pixel count in a smaller space, so better picture.
