Amending my credit file

Hi all
I have recently been speaking to a mortgage advisor about a mortgage once my DMP finishes in November 2017.
I sent him a copy of my checkmyfile.com credit file for him to have a look through. He has pointed out to me that there are a few issues that needed to be corrected before we really go anywhere with this.
He said this:
"There looks to be an error in the way a debt is been recorded on your credit file which will cause you problems for a long time its page 39 of 77 INSTANT CASH LOANS T/A PAYDAY UK (I) - Its been recorded as status one late payments and pretty much all lenders state you cannot have any arrears for at least 6 months, it looks wrong to me and you should contact the provider and request they update the report as it will stay there for 6 years."
He also said that 1st credit finance were reporting an AR which he believed should be updated (i am still paying them off on my dmp).
And the same reporting of AR for Everyday Loans.
First of all, do people agree with this advice?
If so do i contact the credit file agency or the lender/creditor to amend these issues?
Thanks

Are you sure he is a real advisor? Or is he someone you found in the back of an estate agents?
Missed payments are recorded, whether one or dozens. After 6 months, it typically goes into default.
Have the other accounts defaulted? Or just showing arrangements?0 -

I found him on online mortgage advisor website, they seemed ok review wise?
Well they are all over the place really. Some reporting as DM, others AR, some default and then one as Status 1 all the way through.
Would it be easier for me to take screen shots?
I take it the advice was not correct?DEBT FREE AS OF 28/6/17 :j:beer:0 -
Certainly his advice about it being able to have arrears for 6 months is completely mad.
Can you imagine lenders not being able to report if someone hasn't paid their mortgage for 5 months in a row?0 -

He actually says that im not able to have any arrears on my file for 6 months prior to mortgage appliction?
Its the reporting of Status one that he is questioning
Yes totally agree that reporting the account as it stands is the correct way.DEBT FREE AS OF 28/6/17 :j:beer:0 -
Ok. I misunderstood your original post. Did you have late payments on the account?0

Well i did during the setup of my DMP and then the odd one during my DMP where they recieved a token payment. Credit file is showing being recorded as Status one since the start of my DMP.DEBT FREE AS OF 28/6/17 :j:beer:0
