Hey Guys,

Need a bit of help please as i have read through the sticky threads but now i can't go any further, my car received a PCN from Parking Control Management, i have found the thread with the letter templates but im not sure which one to use as Parking Control Management doesn't seem to be a member of either that i can see online, (yet they got my details from the DVLA and sent me a letter demanding £100 payment (up from £50 for the original fine) , Can someone who knows this company please advise me as to which letter template i should use (IPC or BPA?) . I have already appealed the PCN using their online appeal stating i was out of the country at the time and know nothing of this of so called "offence" and that i do not know who the driver was, any help would be great thanks!

Do you mean Parking Control Management (UK) Ltd? They are IPC members, showing on the IPC AOS members list.

You should edit your post to remove the information about who parked. The scammers read these fora.

Since you have already appealed, you can't use the IPC template as that is the initial appeal template to the scammers.

Your options now are to ignore anything and everything you get for six years unless you get real court papers. This is explained in the NEWBIES thread.

    It is not a fine.

    Nobody should pay the scammers.

Thanks fruitcake, i have updated my post, yes that is the same outfit, i still can't see them on the list but its ok and i will take your word for it (thanks!) i guess i am abit concerned with the ignore everything option as they have littered all over there website about the court cases that they have won, i don't want to pay these scammers but i don't know for sure if what they state on there website about the court cases is even true. Anyone else out there ignore these guys and not being taken to court over it?

    thanks for your help!

PCM use Gladstones who are seen to muck these cases up. On this forum we have not yet seen a Gladstones claim lost by a poster here, when defended and prepared well.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

on what grounds did your vehicle receive a PCN?
    From the Plain Language Commission:

    Hi Halfway,

My car was parked in what looked like an disused car park at 6:30pm on a sunday evening for 10mins , in that time they slapped a PCN on the window....im going up to the car park myself for a look and to see what signage is there, the picture they sent me is a dark photo of the front of my car, it could have been taken anywhere!

    Cheers
