Fitbit charge hr straps

Hi,
Just looking for advice on this.
After using my Fitbit Charge HR for 7 months the strap started bubbling and falling apart. You can not just replace the strap (it is integral) so they sent me a replacement - no quibbling or hassle :-)
I have now had the replacement for 6 months and it is doing the same. They are again offering to replace it (Or give a 50% discount on a replacement from their store - not so good when you can get the products 30% cheaper on the main shopping sites).
My warranty runs out in 10 months time - so the replacement devices will stop.
Clearly this is a design flaw in the straps. Does anyone know if I can get FitBit to give me my money, reset the warranty or give me a better discount on a better designed fit bit ?

All you can do is ask. I bought the Charge 2 in the Jan sales as it has replaceable straps (v cheap from Amazon) and I had similar issues with my Charge HR. But they generally seem to be pretty good on customer services so no harm in asking!0

If they would give you credit against a HR2 I'd pay the extra - I upgraded to HR2 and its more reliable, and has some extra functionality. it's slightly bigger but the battery is better too.0

had mine just over a year, but had left it next to my bed for a few months - picked it up the other week and its gone the same way.0

I have had my fitbit for over a year, and like yours started bubbling, they sent me a new one no quibble. I have since found out you can buy these on ebay, they just go on the strap, so you can still use the old one.

I've had the same problem with my fitbit charge hr and I'm now out of warranty and my current charge hr strap has just started bubbling
