HSBC APP Error Code 103

I joined online banking a little while ago really to save me having to go into the branch into the city centre and thought 'this is the way forward'!


A little while ago it asked me to update the app, ever since then I have had nothing but problems. In the end I uninstalled the app, tried to install it again then the Error Code 103 came up unabling me to install the app.


I have been on forums etc and they mention something about QuickBooks (who knew) and giving various ideas what to do. Is this possible to sort out myself or will I have to end up making the journey to the bank for a solution. Is it my phone, QuickBooks or the bank, I've no idea!


Any advise would be gratefully appreciated.
