    Yes, viewed it. It's a lovely property, seems about right in price, just worried I'm not going to be as careful as i should, as it's pretty perfect for me.

    What do you mean by it seems about right in price? Does this mean that it is good value or what you would expect to pay to rent it if it was with an agent?

    There are other things you can think about. Was it vacant by that I mean was there any furniture in it? Did the landlord show you round or did they say that they had sent someone else?

    What you are trying to guard against is a tenant renting a property and then stealing deposits by pretending to be a landlord letting a property. Or someone letting a vacant property that they don't own without the permission of the real owner. You could talk to the neighbours to see if anyone is living there.

    mostly that I'd be giving someone money the day before & tomorrow never coming :/ going to stalk it out a bit more today but really my mood at the moment I'm going to be stressing it's going to be hit by a meteorite or something next! Think I'm super sensitive as it could draw the line over a !!!!py couple of years & be a fresh start. It's a lot to pin hopes on!
