How to find our boundaries?

going to keep short - a little trick to explain.
New neighbors have moved in the area. i am recently new to the area as well.
I live in a new development area ( 10 years old) that is build on the corner of another road - and this area has a new road name.
a new neighbor had move in and there house, to me is, on the boarder of this new development. although they are close, they live in another post code and road name, but the road them lead into mine.
their house in on what i would say is the pavement part (foot width) of my road.
to be more accurate, at the edge of their house there is about 3-4 inches width of pebbles before the pavement - so i could say that is part of there property line.
here is the issue; on the pavement about four houses put there bin, they have move the bins claiming that the bins are on there property, in other words, they are claiming the pavement part of our road.
how can i find out the boundaries of there property? or my road, as i am sure that our road is not part of their property.

you of mention, the road i live in is like a cul-de-sac, so really only the residence would use it.
could i use the Land Registry show me the road boundaries or can the council provide this details?0 -
If the road has been adopted by the council, the council will know its boundaries.
as for their property, look at the Title Plan at the Land Registry here (£3).
You could also do a map enquiry here to see what other Titles exist in the area and where their boundaries are.0 -
Avii - already linked to checking title plan online for general boundaries. It won't help re 3 or 4 inches though.
Have a read of PG 40 sup 3 also which may help. The legal presumption, in tandem with whether the road is adopted, may be of interest as well
If you are thinking of doing anything re their placing their bins where they do or extending your own property then do get legal advice as the registered details are information only so understanding the law counts“Official Company Representative

If you think the bins are being stored on the pavement contact your council. They will investigate whether the bins are on private or public land.0
