Wow that is a much better price and to be honest worth travelling for. We are on the south coast so it would take a couple of days but worth it to save that much.
Maybe there are others better priced than the one you're looking at more local to you?
That was the first one i came across - shame its so far away, but prob worth the run if you're otherwise happy with the car.
Might be worth seeing if that dealer group have a branch closer to you that the car could be transferred to?0 -
Out of the original two, have the stepway- but go for the poverty spec. (Access)
(Or even go for the standard sandero, without the plastic trim stuck everywhere.)
Both are Renaults, the stepway will have a lot less to go wrong in poverty spec, and works out £3500 cheaper than that micra.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

Are any of those cars any good? You need a boot large enough to not only take a pram in it but anything else you'd like to transport such as shopping. A boot is no good if all you can fit in is a pram and a fag packet and no more. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. If you want bigger, for the same price as the micra you can get a Dacia Duster in poverty spec.
Only 2wd mind, I am interested myself. I did wonder for a long time why anyone would want a crippled 4x4, but having looked at the road outside, I reckon I just need something with dirt track capable suspension.
As I said, poverty spec means a lot less to go wrong. No alloy wheels to corrode & leak, no air-con to leak out all the expensive gas, no 16 channel DAB radio, I just push in my old Sony.
It is just the Renault pedigree that puts me off....I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

We have been taking the pram with us and trying them out in every car. We also have an umbrella pushchair that we also take to check that fits.0 -
Well today we viewed a Suzuki swift sz4 that was pre reg in March has 8 miles on the clock and they are asking 10k. We viewed and test drove it as it was registered before the ved changes it is £0 road tax a year.
I know a new swift is coming out in June but it will be way over our budget with the lowest prices one apparently £11k.0 -

Just thought I would update this thread. Well to our surprise we have ended up buying a brand new Suzuki Baleno SZ-T model. We got it for £10k including px for our 14 year old car. We are really happy with it. Not as fun to drive as the swift but massive amounts of room in the boot and inside for all passengers. We have tried both of our pushchairs and also the next stage huge car seat in it and the both fit easily with room to spare.
Thanks for all the help.0 -

Thank goodness. Suzuki have saved you from buying a Micra or a Dacia. That can only be good news for you in the long run.0
