Has anyone got Setanta with a integrated digital tv?
I have just got a Panasonic TX-LXD70 LCD TV with a digital tuner and have a tuned channel allocated to Setanta. In the back of the tv there is an empty 'common interface' slot which is too large for a viewing card so I assume I need to get something to fit in here to hold a setanta card.
Can someone enlighten me please.
Also, is it possible to get a single card for all subsciption channels or is a separate card required for each one?
Thanks

IIRC as you go through the Setanta ordering process, there is an option to choose the type of device that plugs into the back of the tv using the 'common interface'. I'm not a 'sports fan' but I recall reading a similar question on http://www.avforums.com/forums so it might be worth your time visiting the forums and checking it out yourself. Specifically this forum: http://www.avforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=263
I got curious and went and found the link myself: http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500000701&langId=-1&searchTerms=setanta+freeview&go.x=12&go.y=16 it's the 2nd one down the 'CAM' which uses the 'common interface'.
Just click the 'search this forum' link under the freeview forum and enter 'Sentanta' without the quotes and start reading.
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0
