The exact same reason people buy 12 months membership instead of 12 x 1 month memberships or 4 x 3 months.
I guess because in my view the negatives outweigh the positives.0 -

How do you pay for your PS+ membership?0 -

You do know that with a password on the console you get logged in anyway unless you stipulate to ask for password at every log in and no one ever does that as they just want the console to start up and log in.
Nice try though :T
I have mine set to ask for a password at each log in.0 -
So how can you recommend the PS4 over an Xbox One?
You dont even use the full capabilities to compare.
Better exclusives. And my view was more on ps as a whole which includes last gen. people said psn was a bad network, that was a lie. PS3 ran quieter, better exclusives, had bluray.
Things are more equal this gen but as I said I still think ps has better exclusives.0 -

So what about last gen? honestly I feel you need some sort of intervention.
You look at this gen on its own. I recall when the original Xbox came out. PS2 owners often said the extra grunt meant nothing.
Next the PS3 comes out and grunt is everything.
So you played online on the PS3? Did you enjoy the 23 day network downtime and account information security breach?
Anyway,we digress. You are commenting on a product for (primarily) online play and dont play online.........0 -

But it is explaining why I got disillusioned with xbox and prefer the ps brand.
The posters question was not about what the current quality of online play is. It was about whether it was a good idea to invest in and commit to 3 years subscription. Various people have said what is good about the idea and what is bad. It is now upto them to take it all into consideration and decided what they want to do.0 -

Yes,you.
The OP didnt ask about PS+ or if it was a good idea.
The were stating its possible.
I know its a fortune to you, but I can blow more on coffee a month than Live costs me a year.0 -
