Longest Dry Spell?

I don't mind admitting it, its been a while. Not that I was ever...you know....prolific, but at least I got some. But these days? Nothing. Nada. Zip. I'm sure there are indeed plenty more fish in the sea, but none of them are nibbling at this hook!
I've tried everything to widen my chances. Done all the things they say. Join a club they told me, you'll find loads of new opportunities. So now I'm a UK mum, a gardener, a rock climbing, scuba diving, gourmet net mum with a penchant for ice lollies and gin! I'm every kind of tradesman, a member of the country club and a silver surfer to boot.......and still not so much as a whiff!
Now I know that luck evens out, and to paraphrase Lee Trevino, the more competitions you enter the luckier you get. I will also admit that at about 50 entries a day I am merely playing at it compared to some. But still, the last time I got lucky was last August! That is over 8000 entries ago! And not so much as a Peppa pig pillow case has this way come.
So my fellow compers, please assuage my despondency and tell me your longest barren spell and how it all came good in the end.
Now I'm off to join the Djibouti tiddlywinks society's newsletter to see what I can find.
Cheers
Dom

I'm currently in my longest of 2 and a half months since Mid Feb. I'm not saying I've had all huge wins but not even anything tiny since then

May 2014 no prizes received - trauma partially offset by receiving prizes in the other 84 months I have been comping.

Well you write so wittily and eloquently about your dry spell, maybe you should try entering some which need writing effort? Had a dry spell from November to the end of January.
    Hope you win soon :D

Even a small effort can cut the number of entries considerably compared to the same prize on offer without an effort needed - doesn't have to be a judged effort either to cut the numbers but just do the minimum required when it's a random draw.
(Just the "effort" of entering by e-mail is enough to effect the number of entries)

I'm feeling your pain! I've been entering all sorts of competitions and I am also a silver surfer too now! I've been going at it like a woman possessed since September last year and have won a pair of cheap headphones for my efforts! I can't cross my fingers any tighter, but I suppose I'll carry on entering and clicking away.... surely things have got to change :) Good Luck :)
:)Good things come to those who wait..... and wait..... and wait!! :rotfl:

Just had my dry spell, nothing for April. This month is looking better with three wins since yesterday.
