New credit card user

Options
I'm looking for a credit card which has a maximum spend. I have a good credit score but would like the security of a limit. Any suggestions?

Any card will do and then lower the limit to your satisfaction.

Your credit score won't help you though. If this is your first card, you're probably going to be limited in options and may end up with a card with a low limit in any case.

I've never heard of a card that doesn't have a limit.

I guess the OP is asking which credit cards have a hard limit and do not allow additional spending after that limit is reached.

    No credit card offers that.

Alternatives: basic bank account or prepaid card.
