Unum group payment protection buyout offer

Roc, what is the latest? I have had similar trouble with UNUM, despite clear medical evidence from hospital consultants and my GP they have decided to ignore all of them.

Hi, I have requested from my employer and UNUM a buyout offer as I am been diagnosed with a form of Narcolepsy and working in an office is now untenable for me. I have been off work and paid for nearly 3 years. The diagnosis was made about 5 years ago.

Can anyone provide any advice on the process, what they might offer or even if they will entertain the idea? Thanks
