    PP List for May:-

    [STRIKE]Boots Extracts Mango body scrub
Liz Earle Lavender and Basil hand repair
    [/STRIKE]Mandara Spa body butter
Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean
    Boots acetone nail polish Remover
[STRIKE]Liz Earle Skin Repair moisturiser (night cream)[/STRIKE]
    Tarte foundation
    Diamond resort body lotion

5 by Summer. As I've finished a couple of items and there a good 2 months left I'm swapping in 2 items. The goal is not to finish them but to keep them in rotation:-

Leighton Denny I love juicy lacquer. I can see gaps in the bottle and this will need thinner to keep it going. May be UUed or TA before challenge over.

No7 eyeshadow. One of the teeny ones that come with GWP. Will keep out to use as base and see how far I get with it.

Kat Von D eyeliner - still going strong! Surely must be finished by the end of the challenge?

Urban Decay Vice eyeliner. Will make more effort to use this.

The Body Shop Amazonian Lily perfume. No matter how much of this I spray it doesn't go down.

No movemnet on any of the Finish 5 items.

I have one IN (bought a small matte foundation on clearance in Boots which will do to replace the one I've almost used up).

    UU
Witch Doctor Skin Treatment Gel 35g -
I used this on spots and it was very effective at drying them out. I WBA but won't replace immediately as I'm onto using a tube of Savlon.

The latest foot cream candidate - that isn't actually a foot cream - is a Burt's Bees Body Butter. This has a slightly musty, milky smell, in winter it isn't really discernable under layers of clothing but it's a different thing in summer. It's quite expensive, but also rich and thick and I do prefer it as a foot cream to the actual Burt's Bees foot cream, which is lanolin based and very greasy.

I saved myself £15 and an hour of my time today by cutting my own hair at home.
I have it in a chin length bob, and this week I caught a rear -view photo of me taken at our live music club. I didn't realise it was a bit long and unkempt looking at the back.

Trim, trim, snip and now colouring my hair this week will be easier and less messy too. My hair is so fine and thinned out now that a competent hairdresser could cut it in two minutes. They don't, of course.

They spin it out to ten to fifteen minutes and charge the same to me as to someone who needs twenty to thirty minutes to lose two inches of growth and complicated shaping to boot. My DD usually manages to save me the hassle but I forgot to ask her the last time she visited.

UU of Aldi Carino Lightest Brown hair colour. This was a half pack as that's all that's required for my hair. As I'd used up the conditioner with the pack on the first use, I used a lovely Nioxin intensive treatment instead. One or two treatments left in the tube.

The shampoo I used afterwards was L'Oreal Everstrong. The tube is really battered now, just one or two washes left here as well.
This is lovely overall, but it produces more lather than anything else I've ever used. I know our water is fairly soft, but even so, nothing else lathers like this.

Miscounted previously.was up to 5 UU. Have a bevy of them today:-

6 Boots acetone nail polish remover HG. More in stash.

7 sample sachet of L'Occitane Jasmine and Bergamot Eau de toilette I have a bottle of this anyway so the sample won't encourage me to buy more at the moment (although I'm on my second bottle). This packaging was stupid though. I thought the fragrance would be saturated on a tissue inside the sachet but it was actually fluid inside and I got some on my hands first. Because of this I'm throwing the other sample sachet out. I now have no samples!

8 Superdrug cotton wool pads HG Another pack in stash.

9 Mandara Spa Ylang Ylang and Coconut body butter Hated this and so glad it's gone. Smelt synthetic and did not absorb well. Will use the Diamond Resort tube next.

As I've UUed 2 items from my PP List will move in 2 from my roulette.

Category Highlighter - the highlighter I have with the smallest amount of product I think is NARS Albatross which is contained in the Killing me Softly palette I've owned for a while. Here is a link.

    https://www.hqhair.com/nars-cosmetics-cheek-palette-killing-me-softly-limited-edition/10846963.html

Will use these blushers too until the end of the month and see if I make any progress.

Category: an everyday staple - handcream. Have pulled out a 10ml tube of L'Occitane Shea Rose Heart hand cream. This smells good, thankfully.

And finally repainted my nails and am wearing ESSIE With the Band.

    We're nearly panning twins. X

I hope you will forgive me for feeling a bit smug. I was sent a budget priced hot air styler to review this week and I have just tried it out (it's excellent, there will be a review link later. I attached a photo so it will probably take time to appear on the website).

I've given myself a smart new look with my refreshed hair colour, and trimmed, styled bob. It cost me £1.25 for the colour. Salon price for cut, colour and blow - dry? £45? You tell me, not had one in years!
