PPI Claim Dorothy Perkins Store Card

Hi there
I hope someone can help me please.
Having recently successfully claimed back £8500 (total) in PPI from the Halifax and HSBC:j I thought I'd look into my old Dorothy Perkins store card account.
My DP store card account was taken out in Aug 1995 and ran until about 2002.
I sent my PPI claim form to Genworth Financial, who passed me on to AXA, who passed me on to Santander. I stated my reasons on the claim form for miss-sold PPI as: no information from shop assistant, no details given to me on PPI, not asked if i wanted PPI or whether it was an option and that I was a temp at the time of taking out the DP store card, so not in permanent employment.
I have since received a letter from Santander confirming my DP account number and the date it was originally taken out (9th Aug 1995)
They have also gone on to say:
'Based on the information you've supplied and records that we hold, we do not currently believe that we should uphold your complaint
However, you've indicated that you were and agency or temporary worker at the time of the policy was taken out
This may have affected your ability to make a claim on the policy, your eligibility for the policy or its overall appropriateness, but without further information we cannot consider whether this is the case
They have enclosed a one page form asking me to confirm the dates I was employed by the agency, which is fine I can confirm these, I also have a certificate of training from the agency which I carried out whilst I was temping through them (although no date on the certificate:mad:)
The date on my old cheque book stub of payment to the agency for the training, is within the dates I worked for the agency - not sure if this will be sufficient info.
My concern is that I have no payslips, P60's or any other proof I was working as a temp when the DP account was opened.
Should I ask Santander what other info they hold on me which suggests they cannot uphold my claim? and should I even be having to prove my employment status to them?
If I do have to send proof, how do I prove my employment from over 15 years ago
Was thinking of getting copies of P60, NI contributions - Is this possible?
Anyone else had this query come up during a PPI claim?
Any advice on the best way to deal with this would be very much appreciated.
Thanks for help in advance

Confirm whatever you are able to. If it's material to your complaint, you are the one who will need to prove it.0
