CMC can go back 30 years

Hi,
I have recently been contacted by a CMC touting for my business. I would rather do it myself than give them 30% of any claim I may have. However they informed me that banks records only go back 10 years but they can go back 30 years. Is this true?

No. its a bunch of lies.
Your data is not in the public domain. So, only you or your lender have details. A CMC cannot magic up data that does not exist. Some banks have longer histories held than others. So, that is what it comes down to. Not whether a CMC is involved or not.
