Experiences with British Gas Homecare agreement please especially Plumbing

We recently added their plumbing services to our domestic appliances cover and find that their operatives are not a British Gas employees but contracted out to Dyno.

On two occasions we have had plumbers not turning up and wonder if this is indicative of their general level of plumbing service or whether we have just been unlucky. We added this facility having been unlucky with independent plumbers but wonder if it's not the fail-safe option we thought we were paying for.

I have the same cover and Dyno have come out promptly on the 2 occasions I've had to call.

You will get "Dyno" for a plumbing callout because British Gas (Centrica) wholly owns
    this company.

If they fail to attend for a booked appointment then call British Gas Complaints
on 0800 107 0184 and ask for compensation for a missed appointment.

British Gas has a service level agreement to cover this sort of thing but
you need to ask them before the payment is forthcoming.

I had a Dyno plumber come out on three separate occasions to repair a leaking toilet. They replaced a washer, and the toilet still leaked. It didn't need a washer. It needed a new flush. I'd never use a Dyno plumber again in a million years.
