If anyone is used as a middle man they always take a big bunch of the pie. Hence all the letter through the door of 'sell quick'.:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

You'd be better to ask on the French property sites, this forum really just covers UK property matters.0

Do have a local French agent? Not one that tries to sell to the English but one that sells to French people? Did you accept the valuation? Is the apartment only suitable as a holiday home or could you live in it all year? Sometimes this will mean do you have any insulation? How is it heated?0

In the unlikely event a UK quick-sale firm would consider a foreign property, you can bet that their valuation would be even lower than their normal margin.
The fact that you are British does not mean that selling the property as if IT was British is even remotely sensible. It's a French property - sell it in France.0 -

They won't take any notice of the asking price.
Typically, they would decide what price to would need to drop to, in order to sell to a cash buyer within 2 weeks.
Then offer you 80% of that figure.
So it would be better not to use a property buying company, and just drop the price to the same figure, sell within 2 weeks and keep 100% of that figure.0 -
Are you trying to sell to brits using an expat estate agent? try going direct to your local Notaires and also tell your Mairie as they often know about people moving into the area. Plus put it on Leboncoin and any other local add papers or sites.
Do you have the price right to sell and have you had the necessary reports done, energy asbestos and woodworm?0
