PPI on unpainted in full loan

Hi all,
When I was a young teenager in 1999I took out a loan of £5000 with lloyds bank.i paid payments on time until I lost my job and couldn't afford any payments,went through a real bad patch and buried my head in the sand.i was left owing around £600 I think,debt got passed to collection agency in 2003/4 but did not pay it, and I have heard nothing for about 10 years,I have no paperwork at all,and am unsure where I stand.
Can I still claim PPI?

You can complain if you felt you were missold PPI, but any redress would quite rightly go against what you owe.0

You would need to finish painting the loan first.
